Do you suffer from
Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a debilitating autoimmune disease that affects more than two million Americans1 and hinders the daily activities of sufferers. RA occurs when the immune system inappropriately attacks joint tissue, causing painful, chronic inflammation and irreversible destruction of cartilage, tendons, and bones, often resulting in disability. Common RA symptoms include joint inflammation, swelling, fatigue, stiffness, and pain.

Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinical Studies

Researchers and doctors at approximately 350 medical facilities in the United States are studying an investigational drug for rheumatoid arthritis. If you are 18 years of age or older and suffer from active rheumatoid arthritis, you may qualify for one of three clinical research studies.

This Web site provides information about three clinical research studies now evaluating an investigational drug in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis. Review the Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinical Studies page for information about each study and the Eligibility page for information about who qualifies for each study.

If you are interested in learning more about these studies and to see if you may be eligible to participate, take the online survey to assess your eligibility for the studies or call 1-877-STUDY16 (788-3916) to talk to a representative.
